Everyone knows it’s hard work to pull together an amazing wedding, so people will undertand the pressure you are under if you are doing most of the planning yourself. But it doesn’t give you the right to throw a tantrum if things don’t go your way. Getting angry at everyone around you because someone makes a mistake is not the way to get your perfect wedding. It will only alienate you from the people you need to be around.
Just because you are stressed doesn’t mean you can take it out on the people that are close to you, try taking a few deep breaths and think about what’s happened, why it’s happened and how you can get it fixed. Don’t worry about who’s fault it is or how it will spoil your day, the main thing is to get it fixed before the wedding. People will be more willing to help someone who is kind and thoughtful of others, so if you start yelling and acting all crazy don’t be surprised if no one comes to help you out later on. You don’t want to be a bridezilla!
If you know you are someone who has a short fuse or gets upset easily, it might be worth hiring a wedding planner to take care of all the details and jobs you think will stress you out and cause you to behave irrationally. You don’t want to find yourself screaming at a poor kid who’s prematurely released some of your wedding lanterns, after all he was only trying to help! So please, brides-to-be, keep your cool on your big day!
